Personalized Prep was founded in 2013 with the mission of empowering students to become more confident in school and their test-taking abilities. Its founder saw a lack of accountability in tutoring companies in the area and saw how he could make a difference. Larger tutoring companies did not care to properly train each tutor since the volume of clientele was more important to their business. Still, smaller tutoring companies did not have the resources to offer their students the broad scope of subjects present at larger tutoring companies. This is why Personalized Prep was founded - to ensure each student is treated as more than just a number and to create individualized tutoring programs for each student.
